-
- QUICK: Should there be a solder connection on the 74F86 chip on the
- processor slot board?
-
- Obviously there are lots of poeple out there with working MicroNik Towers
- for the A1200, well mine's NOT working and I'm annoyed.
-
- Plugging in the processor slot expansion and then the busboard is fine (I
- haven't been able to actually test the busboard since I don't have any
- boards yet!), it powers up okay, but if I plug in my lovely Blizzard
- 1230-II it just sits in reset and doesn't do a thing!
-
- However, looking on the processor slot board (the small one), the logic
- chip on there (74F86 - EOR gates), two of the pins have a solder connection
- (i.e. they were soldered together), these are pins 9 and 10 (which are the
- two inputs to one of the EOR gates) and I want to know if it is supposed
- to be there.
-
- I'd be very happy if it is not supposed to be there because I can remove
- it and hopefully it will then work with my accelerator).
-
- Replies by Email would be appreciated since I wont be using this account
- (i.e. have access to News) for a few weeks and my poor Amiga's in pieces!
