  12. QUICK: Should there be a solder connection on the 74F86 chip on the
  13. processor slot board?

  15. Obviously there are lots of poeple out there with working MicroNik Towers
  16. for the A1200, well mine's NOT working and I'm annoyed.

  18. Plugging in the processor slot expansion and then the busboard is fine (I
  19. haven't been able to actually test the busboard since I don't have any
  20. boards yet!), it powers up okay, but if I plug in my lovely Blizzard
  21. 1230-II it just sits in reset and doesn't do a thing!

  23. However, looking on the processor slot board (the small one), the logic
  24. chip on there (74F86 - EOR gates), two of the pins have a solder connection
  25. (i.e. they were soldered together), these are pins 9 and 10 (which are the
  26. two inputs to one of the EOR gates) and I want to know if it is supposed
  27. to be there.

  29. I'd be very happy if it is not supposed to be there because I can remove
  30. it and hopefully it will then work with my accelerator).
